OSOS Alliance Pty Ltd – Murrumba Downs QLDFacilities Manager – ContractMurrumba Downs, QLD | Monday–Friday | 38 Hours Per Week | Short-Term ContractWe are currently seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our client's team on a short-term contract, supporting the day-to-day management of facilities, maintenance activities and contractors across an operational site.This is a hands‐on coordination role suited to someone with experience across facilities management, asset maintenance, trades or property management who is confident managing multiple priorities and working autonomously.The RoleAs Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating planned and reactive maintenance, supporting work delivery and ensuring day‐to‐day facilities operations continue to run smoothly.You will work closely with site School Officers and the Cleaning Supervisor, while also engaging regularly with key client stakeholders including Business Managers and School Principals, as well as contractors and internal teams.
A key part of the role will be coordinating these different stakeholders and acting as a central point of contact for facilities and maintenance matters.Your responsibilities will include:Managing planned and reactive maintenance across siteWorking closely with School Officers and the Cleaning Supervisor to coordinate day‐to‐day facilities requirementsLiaising with Business Managers, School Principals and other client stakeholdersActing as a key point of contact for facilities management and asset maintenance mattersBuilding and maintaining robust working relationships with subcontractors,
contractors and internal teamsCoordinating day‐to‐day activities with site‐based personnelConducting site inspections and audits and ensuring actions are closed outSupporting work order management and responding to subcontractor queriesMonitoring contractor performance against agreed scope, budget and compliance requirementsMaintaining accurate records, plans and reportingSupporting the effective delivery of maintenance and facilities‐related worksAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have:Previous experience within facilities management, trades, asset maintenance or a similar environmentThe ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomouslyStrong stakeholder and contractor management skillsExcellent communication and problem‐solving abilitiesA proactive, organised and personable approachThe ability to think quickly and confidently manage day‐to‐day operational requirementsProject coordination or project management experience – desirableTrade, property or facilities management‐related qualifications – desirableEssential RequirementsCurrent Australian driver's licenceCurrent Working with Children Check and National Police Check, or willingness to obtain these prior to commencingWhat's on Offer?
