The Standard Market Company – Southport QLDJoin our energetic team at The Standard Market Company, a premier gourmet food retail company located at the bustling Ferry Road Markets in Southport.We are seeking a fit & reliable kitchenhand to join our Gelati Department.This role is available on a casual basis, with working hours between 5:00am and 6:00pm.
The ideal candidate will be flexible and available to work a set roster, including at least one weekend day.You will have:Previous experience in high volume food preparationPrevious experience in food handling and sanitation.
Cleaning is an essential part of this role.Previous experience with Ice Cream or Gelato will be highly regarded.You must be physically fit as this role requires you to be able to bend, lift & store food products, large pots & pans and do repetitive tasks.Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiencesIf you're willing to work hard and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty we'd love to hear from you.
