Hospitality Team Member – Burleigh Heads FishmongersBurleigh Heads Fishmongers is looking for a reliable and motivated Hospitality Team Member to join our team.We're a busy, established local business in the heart of Burleigh Heads with a strong team and a great working environment.
With the warmer months approaching and our busiest time of year ahead, it's a great time to join us.This is a casual position with approximately ***** hours per week available, however we're flexible for the right person.
The exact hours and shift mix can depend on your availability, experience, what you're looking for and where you fit best within the team.There is potential for morning shifts involving opening, setup and preparation, later shifts involving customer service and cooking, or a combination of both.
For the right person, there is also potential to take on more hours and responsibility over time.The role itself is varied and hands-on.
You'll work directly with customers while also being involved in the day-to-day operation of the shop.
We're looking for someone who is friendly and presentable with customers, but equally happy to get hands-on and help wherever needed.What you'll be doingProviding friendly and efficient customer serviceTaking customer orders and operating the POSCooking and preparing food while following our processes and standardsAssisting with morning setup,



preparation and opening duties where applicablePreparing and packing customer ordersAssisting with general food and seafood preparationRestocking and keeping work areas organisedCleaning and maintaining a high standard throughout the shopWorking efficiently alongside the team during busy periodsHelping with general shop duties as requiredWho we're looking forMore than anything, we're looking for the right person to fit into our team.Reliable, punctual and hard-workingFriendly, confident and presentable with customersComfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environmentHands-on and willing to get involved in different areas of the shopAble to follow processes and maintain consistent standardsA good communicator who works well as part of a teamFlexible and willing to learnPrevious hospitality, retail or customer service experience is preferred, but attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are just as significant.
