About the Role
We're seeking a hands‐on Site Engineer to join the delivery team on a major station development project in Brisbane.
Based on site, you'll provide day‐to‐day engineering support to ensure works are constructed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with design and specification.
Key Responsibilities
Provide engineering support and supervision for site construction activitiesSet out works and undertake quality checks against design drawings and specificationsMonitor and manage subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and program requirementsConduct daily site inspections and maintain accurate site records, diaries, and progress documentationIdentify and elevate site risks, non-conformances, and design issues in a timely mannerCoordinate with surveyors, subcontractors,



and the broader project team to keep works on programSupport compliance with rail safety standards (including track access and possession requirements) and environmental obligationsAssist with as‐built documentation and close‐out records
About You
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)Experience in rail, transport, or major infrastructure construction, ideally within live/brownfield environmentsWorking knowledge of setout, quality assurance processes, and construction methodologyUnderstanding of rail safety requirements; RIW/rail safety accreditation highly regardedStrong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with subcontractors and site teamsA proactive, safety‐first mindset and willingness to be on‐site and hands‐on
