We are seeking aCommunity Disability Support Workerlocated inPyrmont - Parking on site
Each day may look a little different but your work will be centered around the following:
Providing support in everyday daily activities around the homeProviding support with hygiene and personal careComplex care support - Hoist, Bowel care, catheter management ( Supra pubic catheter), Enema, Medication and Manual handlingProviding support with Hydrotherapy session along with the client (waist down in water)Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environmentAssisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medicationMeal assistance which may include meal preparation
What shifts are we offering?
Monday to Sunday
Morning shiftsAfternoon shifts - Hydrotherapy
To be successful in this role you will have:
Drivers License, reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insuranceAt least one year experience as a Disability Support WorkerNDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
