We are set on 15 acres, just two kilometres from the beach.The Hotel consists of Saltwater Bar & Bistro, Treetops Café, Sports Bar, Gaming and TAB facilities.
The property also includes 78 rooms, with accommodation options in both self-contained and motel style rooms and guest facilities such as pools and tennis court.
We offer Event and Conference facilities with a variety of spaces suitable for Weddings, Business Meetings or Events and Special Occasions.
We also have a drive through bottle shop.We have been renovating sections of the business significantly over the last few years and have future plans to further improve our customers experiences.We are a family-owned business and focus on accommodation and food & beverage, we do not trade late and do not revolve around gaming.
We focus on delivering outstanding service and experiences to our community and visitors.The RoleGardener / All Rounder - you will work in a team that is responsible for:Maintain the presentation of grounds, gardens and landscaping across the property including lawnsSeasonal garden work including pruning, feeding propagating and plantingEnsuring indoor plants are well presentedAssisting with implementation of small and large improvement projects - you may have input into designMaintenance and basic repairs of garden equipmentSupported by the maintenance team and other labourSupport the Facilities Manager and venue managers with daily operational needsAssist rooms division housekeeping, hotel cleaning, and general maintenanceAssist with swimming pool service and maintenanceWork within a team and unsupervisedDay time shifts Monday to Friday.




Some flexibilityto work a day on an occasional weekend and possibly a public holiday will be advantageous.About YouWe are seeking someone who possesses a passion for gardening and the natural environment.
The skills and knowledge of preserving well-established gardens and a vision for the future landscape.Minimum of 2 year's experienceHorticulture knowledge either qualified or significant experience in a like roleIdeally you are a qualified tradesperson looking for that lifestyle change, to drop the commute, perhaps work less hours with more flexibility, but if you are unqualified with a broad base of experience in the required areas, we would still like to hear from you.Strong knowledge in all aspects ofgarden work including pruning, feeding propagating and plantingPassion for high level of presentation of grounds and gardensFamiliar with seasonal tasks for grounds and garden upkeepA positive outlook and love working outdoorsAn ability to engage with our guests as requiredStrong work ethic and positive team attitudeThe ability to work unsupervisedPhysically fit and healthyExcellent communicator - English verbal and written with ability to use a PCFlexibility to cover a number of duties including maintenance, grounds,cleaning and housekeepingPrevious experience in a similar role is desired preferably in a hospitality settingThe OfferCompetitive remuneration with 4 weeks annual leaveA full time role is available to the successful candidate .
