Payroll ManagerWe are recruiting for a highly experienced Payroll Manager for a Technology consulting business in Melbourne's CBD.
This role leads a large team and while this person needs to be technical, they will spend the majority of their time focussing on strategy and compliance.This role will be suited to someone who has a number of years in a Payroll Leadership position, and ideally has a mix of both AU and NZ Payroll or has been working within an outsourced payroll workplace.The role:Leading a large team of payroll officers through the day to day achieving accurate and on time payrolls.Processing pay for employee bases over both Australia and New ZealandThe company processes for both internal payroll and outsourced payroll for smaller companiesDrive payroll compliance and governance within the departmentBuild and maintain client relationshipsManage and achieve services delivery parametersDeal with complex pay queries and service transitionsThe successful candidate:Will have successfully led and developed teams of 5+ staffWill have experience processing both Australian and New Zealand Payroll (desirable)Have outsourced payroll experience (ideal but not essential)Have experience implementing process improvements and identifying gapsHigh-level understanding of payroll compliance and governanceExcellent stakeholder management capabilityLarge payroll system experienceThe finer details:CBD location close to public transportCompetitive salaryHybrid working model after probation period
