Masselos & Co Lawyers are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Lawyer with personal injury litigation experience to join our dynamic 10-lawyer team in our Sydney CBD office.
As a Personal Injury Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality legal representation and support to clients in workplace injury , motor accident, and civil liability claims.
This is a full-time role with opportunities for career development and growth within our growing firm.
Part-time candidates will also be considered.What you'll be doingYou'll have day-to-day carriage of personal injury files - workers compensation, work injury damages, motor accident, public liability claims and medical negligence claimsConducting in-depth client interviews to understand the details of each caseResearching and analysing relevant laws, regulations and past cases to build a strong legal strategyPreparing and filing all necessary legal documents, including claims, pleadings and motionsInstructing counsel and negotiating with insurance companies to achieve the best possible outcomes for clientsRepresenting clients in court proceedings, including mediation,



arbitration and trialsProviding regular updates and support to clients throughout the legal processMaintaining detailed records and documentation for each caseWhat we're looking forA Bachelor's degree in Law and a current practicing certificateAt least 2 years of experience working as a personal injury lawyer, with a strong track record of successful outcomesExperience in workers compensation/work injury damages mattersExcellent research, analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication abilities, with the ability to effectively communicate with and advocate for clientsA compassionate and empathetic approach when working with clients who have experienced injury or traumaStrong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple cases simultaneouslyWhat we offerAt Masselos & Co Lawyers, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that allows our employees to thrive.
