APS6 Business Analyst/Project Support OfficerLocation: Canberra, ACT / Sydney, NSW / Brisbane, QLD / Hobart, TAS / Coffs Harbour, NSWContract: ASAP to June ****, with possible extension options available for the right candidate, pending budget decisions as alwaysPay: $100 - $120 p/h including super (negotiable)Work type: Full-timeWork arrangement: Flexible hybrid arrangements, with specific arrangements agreed with your supervisor on a case-by-case basisClearance: Must hold a current Baseline clearance or aboveAbout the RoleOur Federal Government client is looking for an experienced APS6 Business Analyst to join a digital health delivery team working on a nationally significant ICT initiative.This is a hands-on business analysis role with a strong delivery focus.
You will work across requirements analysis, business process analysis, impact assessment, testing, business validation and implementation.
You will also support the governance and coordination needed to keep the project moving.
That includes maintaining plans and registers, preparing reporting and executive material, and coordinating workshops and governance forums.The role suits a well-rounded Business Analyst who can move comfortably between detailed requirements work, stakeholder engagement and project delivery support.What You'll Be DoingUndertake requirements analysis and maintain clear requirements traceability throughout the projectElicit, analyse and document business needs, requirements and process impactsSupport business process analysis and identify how proposed changes affect users, systems and existing processesContribute to impact assessments across business and ICT changesSupport testing activities, business validation and implementation readinessWork with business and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve delivery issuesHelp maintain project plans, schedules and key delivery documentationMaintain risk, issue, action, decision and dependency registersPrepare project reporting, progress updates, executive briefs and governance papersCoordinate workshops, governance forums and project meetingsPrepare agendas, capture minutes and track actions through to completionSupport consistent project governance across planning, delivery,
