Job Description: Kew location Permanent, Part Time – 32 hours per week Senior clinical leadership opportunity within a friendly and supportive teamAbout the RoleAn exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Speech Pathologist to provide high-quality, person-centred and evidence-based Speech Pathology services to residents within St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne's Public Aged Care Services.
In this senior role, you will provide clinical leadership and expert consultation across residential aged care, supporting best practice in the management of communication and swallowing disorders.
You will work closely with nursing, allied health and support services to promote excellent resident outcomes and contribute to the ongoing development of contemporary models of care.You will:Provide clinical leadership across residential aged care Speech Pathology services, promoting best practice in the assessment and management of communication and swallowing disordersProvide expert clinical consultation and support for residents with complex communication and swallowing needsWork collaboratively with the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, Nurse Unit Managers, Support Services and Allied Health teamsContribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of systems and processes that support compliance with the Aged Care Quality StandardsSupport the delivery of contemporary, person-centred models of care that promote positive outcomes and quality of life for residentsThe classification for this position will range from VW6–VW9 ($104,****** - $118,******) per annum, pro rata for part time.Your ContributionYou will be an experienced Speech Pathologist with strong clinical expertise,



excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for improving outcomes for older adults.
