or a similar project-based environment is highly regardedKey ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and complete month-end close activities, including journals, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, and review of the general ledger.Prepare and review P&L; and balance sheet accounts and assist with monthly and year-end financial reporting.Complete balance sheet and reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure outstanding items are resolved.Prepare, reconcile, and lodge statutory obligations including BAS, Fuel Tax Credits, Payroll Tax, TPAR, FBT, and superannuation.Support year-end reporting and external audits, whilst maintaining and improving financial controls, procedures, and accounting systems.Work collaboratively across Finance and the wider business, providing support and oversight across AP, AR and Payroll where required.About usWorkfast is a recruitment company working with some of Australia's largest and leading building companies.
