The Role
JPS Medical Recruitment is speaking with a major regional referral hospital regarding opportunities for Intensive Care Registrars.

This position offers broad exposure within a busy regional ICU that manages a balanced mix of medical, surgical and trauma patients. Registrars work as part of a well supported multidisciplinary team, gaining experience in the assessment and management of critically ill adults while also leading rapid response calls across the hospital under consultant supervision. The unit provides a strong platform for doctors pursuing a career in Intensive Care Medicine or other critical care specialties.

The Hospital
This Level 5 regional referral hospital provides comprehensive acute services for Northern NSW and supports a wide range of medical and surgical specialties.
Confirmed features include:

- Regional referral centre with extensive specialist services.
- Nine-bed Intensive Care Unit.
- Dedicated operating theatres, Emergency Department and Cardiac Catheter Laboratory.
- Renal, paediatric, women's health, oncology and mental health services supporting a diverse ICU case mix.

Requirements

- Eligible for registration with AHPRA.
- Recent experience in Intensive Care, Emergency Medicine, Anaesthesia or another acute care specialty.
- Demonstrated commitment to training in critical care.
- Professional references.
