Troocoo Healthcare is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for an agency contract at Proserpine.

If you're an experienced RN looking for your next rural contract in beautiful North Queensland, this could be a great opportunity to experience the Whitsundays while working across both Emergency and Ward settings.

The Opportunity

- Location: Proserpine, QLD
- Facility: Proserpine - Whitsunday
- Position: Registered Nurse
- Contract: 14 September - 25 October 2026
- Roster: As per facility requirements
- Rate: $59.05 - $73.60 per hour base, dependent on applicable experience/level
- Travel & accommodation assistance/allowance available

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced RN who is confident working across a rural hospital environment.

You will be required to work across both:

- Emergency
- Acute Ward

What We're Looking For Essential:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Rural nursing experience
- Emergency nursing experience
- Acute ward experience




- Ability to work confidently across both Emergency and Ward environments

Desirable:

- Previous Queensland Health experience
- Previous Mackay HHS experience
- Experience working in Australian rural or regional hospitals
- ieMR experience
- FirstNet experience
- PowerChart experience
- HBCIS experience
