We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Road Safety Program Coordinator to support the delivery of vital road safety initiatives. In this position, you will play a key role in coordinating grant and education programs aimed at reducing road trauma and improving community safety outcomes.

Working across multiple program streams, you will manage end-to-end grant lifecycles, coordinate financial and contractual requirements, and build strong relationships with external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Program & Grant Coordination: Oversee the planning, implementation, delivery, and reporting phases for grant and education programs.

Stakeholder Engagement: Engage and advise external applicants and stakeholders to negotiate strong program and safety outcomes.

Financial & Contract Management: Oversee project budgets, invoicing, payment schedules, and contractual responsibilities.

Procurement & Administration: Prepare documentation to support the procurement of external expertise, and handle high-level program administration.

Communications: Draft program guidelines, notification letters, media releases, newsletters, and executive briefing documents.

Process Improvement: Identify innovative approaches to improve program efficiency, effectiveness, and best-practice delivery.
About You

To be successful in this role,



you will bring a strong background in program coordination along with exceptional stakeholder management capabilities.

Key Requirements & Skills:

Demonstrated experience coordinating programs within a community, government, or public sector environment.

Relevant tertiary qualifications or formal training in Project Management (or a related field) is highly desirable.

Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and influence skills across diverse stakeholder groups.

Proven experience managing program administration, budgets, procurement, and contract lifecycles.

Excellent communication skills with experience drafting transparent, concise professional correspondence and briefs.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required for this role.
