The Role
JPS Medical Recruitment is keen to connect with General Medicine Registrars interested in joining a well established regional referral hospital in South Australia. This role offers broad exposure to adult general medicine within a supportive team environment, providing an excellent opportunity to further develop inpatient management skills while working alongside experienced Physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

As a Registrar, you will contribute to the assessment and management of a diverse medical caseload, participate in ward rounds and after hours rosters, and work closely with Consultants to build confidence in clinical decision-making. The position is suited to doctors seeking strong regional experience within a recognised teaching environment.

The Hospital
This regional referral hospital provides comprehensive medical services to a large regional catchment and plays an important role in delivering specialist care outside metropolitan centres.

- Workplace-Based Assessment (WBA) facility, supporting eligible international medical graduates through the WBA pathway.
- Direct Consultant supervision and regular clinical teaching.
- Broad exposure to general medical presentations encountered in a regional referral setting.
- Opportunities to participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case discussions and quality improvement activities where available.

Requirements

- Eligible for registration with AHPRA.
- Recent experience in General Medicine or a comparable acute medical setting.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
