Our Client
Our client is a fast-growing boutique law firm. The Principal of this firm focuses on providing sharp, clear, and practical solutions for their diverse client base.

They leverage modern technology to streamline administrative workflows, leaving the lawyers free to do what they do best: practice law and solve complex problems.

Due to a steady influx of high-quality litigation work, they are looking for a sharp, commercially-minded Generalist Lawyer with a heavy background in court work and dispute resolution.

The Role
You will step into a broad, generalist position with a heavy emphasis on civil and commercial litigation. You will be given immediate file ownership and the autonomy to manage matters from inception to final hearing/settlement.
Your day-to-day work will span:

- Commercial & Civil Litigation: Handling breach of contract disputes, building and construction issues, corporate debt recovery, and property disputes.
- Court Work & Advocacy: Drafting pleadings, affidavits, statements of claim, and interlocutory applications across the Local, District, and Supreme Courts of NSW.
- Alternative Dispute Resolution: Preparing for and representing clients at mediations, conciliations, and informal settlement conferences.
- Generalist Practice: Assisting clients with property transactions, leasing disputes,



estate planning, and basic family law matters as required.

Skills & Experience Required

- Qualifications: Admitted as a Solicitor in NSW with a current, unrestricted Practising Certificate.
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) in a private practice setting.
- Litigation: Hands-on experience independently managing litigation files, instructing counsel, and appearing in NSW courts.
- Adaptable Generalist Mindset: A versatile professional who is enthusiastic about working across multiple areas of law to service the clients’ diverse needs.
- Client-Centric Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex legal jargon into clear, actionable advice.
