Where you'll be working

SESLHD is one of the largest local health districts in Sydney, covering a geographical area of 468 square kilometres from Sydney's central business district, the beaches from Bondi to Cronulla and down to the Royal National Park. We deliver health care to around 930,000 residents across the local government areas of Woollahra, Waverley, Randwick, Bayside, Georges River and the Sutherland Shire. We also provide a key role in helping residents of Lord Howe Island. Our staff also deliver high quality health care across a variety of community-based services ranging from pre-birth to palliative care.

The Role

Provides secretarial and administrative support for Health ICT to achieve their objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner. Prepare payroll information for sign-off. This will include the handling of high level confidential and sensitive information with limited supervision.

Selection Criteria: * Ability to perform a wide range of administrative tasks,



while managing competing work priorities and work flow within allocated resources with a high level of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of responding to a range of customer enquiries and determining the appropriate response in a complex work environment
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite package including Word, Outlook as well as Health Roster, Oracle, HPE Content Manager, Stafflink and Human Capital Management (HCM Recruiting system)
- Demonstrated initiative and the ability to bring a creative approach to problem solving
- Ability to work independently and with a demonstrated capacity for effective teamwork
- Demonstrated commitment to providing a quality service and quality improvement initiatives in workplace practices and procedures
- Experience in a Health setting
- Current NSW Drivers Licence
