This is an exciting part-time (4 days per week) opportunity to take ownership of learning and development in a high-performing professional services environment, shaping how people build capability, develop as leaders and progress their careers.
About the role
Working closely with the People & Culture leadership team and senior stakeholders across the organisation, you'll bring together strategy, program design and delivery to create learning experiences that genuinely make an impact.
You'll have the opportunity to shape and evolve the organisation's L&D; offering, with a broad remit spanning:
- Developing and delivering the learning strategy, aligned to organisational priorities and capability needs
- Leading leadership and career development programs
- Designing engaging learning solutions across face-to-face, digital, hybrid and self-directed formats
- Building and enhancing onboarding and induction experiences
- Leading the Graduate Development Program and supporting early-career talent initiatives
- Overseeing the skilled learning and annual legal education calendar
- Partnering with leaders to identify capability gaps and translate these into practical development solutions
- Managing external learning partners and facilitators, ensuring quality and value
- Driving continuous improvement across L&D; processes, systems and the employee experience
This is a role where you'll be both thinking strategically and operationally, shaping the direction of L&D; while remaining close to the delivery.
About you
You're an experienced L&D; professional who enjoys having genuine ownership and influence.
You'll bring:
- Proven experience leading learning and development strategy, frameworks and programs, ideally within professional services
- Strong commercial and strategic thinking,
with the ability to connect learning initiatives to broader business priorities
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with confidence working with senior leaders
- Strong facilitation and program delivery capability
- Experience designing contemporary learning solutions across a range of formats
- A collaborative, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and take initiatives from concept through to delivery
- A qualification in Learning & Development, Training, HR or a related discipline will be highly regarded
- LSI accreditation is highly desirable
