We're a well-respected not-for-profit that's been serving society's most vulnerable for 170 years. Each year, we achieve life-changing outcomes for more than 40,000 people through person-centred support.

As our Receptionist, you'll be key to our mission to enrich lives and strengthen communities. You'll join a compassionate, respectful and purpose-driven team where our values of integrity, justice, compassion and excellence are lived every day.

Your opportunity

As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you will create a calm, welcoming and professional experience, including for people who may be in crisis or have complex needs. You will also provide practical administrative support that helps our services stay organised, well-resourced and responsive.

Working closely with the Site Operations Manager and Community Services teams, you will coordinate reception, site administration, supplies, facilities requests, financial processing and internal communication.

With integrity and resilience, you will:

- Welcome clients and visitors, respond to enquiries and connect people with the right Anglicare services.
- Manage reception and daily site processes, including sign-in, mail, supplies, rooms, equipment and contractor coordination.
- Protect privacy and confidentiality through accurate filing, storage, archiving and information-handling practices.
- Support staff inductions, meetings, catering, communications, resources and general administration.
- Process invoices, accounts payable items, expenditure, reconciliations and reimbursement requests accurately.

What you'll bring

You are a warm, organised and dependable administrator who remains calm under pressure. You communicate respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds,

manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality while delivering accurate, high-quality work.

You share Anglicare's values of integrity, justice, compassion and excellence and can bring these values to every interaction with clients, colleagues and community partners.

What's required

- Demonstrated experience in an administration, reception or customer service role within a similar environment.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to welcome and support people who may be in crisis.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including advanced Excel capability, and confidence learning other systems.
- Excellent organisation, accuracy and time management, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and experience working with people from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.

What's preferred

- Experience in community services, health, mental health or another client-focused service environment.
- Experience with invoice processing, accounts payable, reconciliations or systems such as Basware.
- First Aid or Health and Safety Representative experience, or willingness to undertake relevant training.
