PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The role of the Casual Music Tutor: Guitar is to support the mission and ethos of the College and the Touchstones of the Edmund Rice Charter within the cocurricular music department.

This involves interacting with students, staff and parents in an appropriate manner as well as implementing processes and practices in keeping with the values and ethos of the College and designed to accomplish the desired outcomes of the College’s music program.

These directions will align with, and support, the vision, mission and strategic plan of the college and align with touchstones embedded in the Charter for Catholic Schools in the Edmund Rice Tradition.

ABOUT YOU

- Completed a tertiary level music course or have relevant qualifications for the role.

- Jazz and Bass Guitar expertise an advantage.





- Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety, ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.

- A personable and approachable team player who shares workloads, communicates effectively, and engages professionally with colleagues and the wider College community

- Hold a Working with Children (Blue Card) or the ability to acquire one.
