About the role

You'll oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, with a robust focus on EDI order processing for major retail accounts, pick and pack efficiency, container receipting, and stock accuracy across the team. This role is covering a period of leave (up to 12 months), but the company is open to the candidate being part of the team ongoing long term for the right person.

Key responsibilities

- Process and manage EDI orders for major retail account, ensuring accuracy and on-time dispatch

- Manage inventory control and stock levels

- Monitor performance and ensure accurate order fulfillment

- Supervise and coordinate daily pick and pack operations

- Lead and train a small team of warehouse staff

- Coordinate with logistics and customer service teams

- Liaise with management and other team members

- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions

- General warehouse duties

About you





- Experience with EDI order processing or major retail order/inventory systems (highly regarded)

- Experience in a warehouse supervisory or leadership role

- Strong knowledge of pick and pack procedures

- Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team

- Forklift license

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Computer proficiency (inventory software, MS Office)

- The ability to prioritise, work efficiently, organise, and be punctual
