About the role

Diesel Logic Australia is looking for a Workshop Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Port Lincoln.

We’re looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about diesel engines, takes pride in their work and is eager to continue developing their skills and knowledge.

This is a full-time workshop-based role, primarily working on on-highway trucks and diesel engines, with the opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of repairs, diagnostics and engine work, and the opportunity to progress into a field service role.

What you'll be doing

- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a wide range of engines with a focus on Cummins, Cat and Detroit engines.

- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues

- Maintain detailed records of all work completed and parts used

- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant standards and regulations

What we're looking for

- Qualified heavy diesel mechanic with at least 3 years experience

- A genuine interest and passion for diesel engines

- Someone who is keen to learn, grow their skill set and take on more challenging work

- Hands-on experience with Cummins, Caterpillar,



Kenworth and Eaton highly regarded.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide efficient and effective customer service

- Current driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites if required

- Commitment to safety and a high standard of workmanship
