Senior Program Coordinator– Cyber Uplift Program
Location: North Brisbane / Hybrid (50% Work from Home)
Contract Duration: Initial 12-Month Contract (September 2026 – September 2027)
Daily Rate: $632 – $672 per day + Super

About the Prospect
We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Coordinator to drive the PMO, governance, and operational support functions for a major Cyber Uplift Program within a key Queensland Government department.
Working directly alongside the Program Manager, Project Managers, and technical discipline leads, you will serve as the operational anchor—ensuring robust governance, seamless stakeholder reporting, financial tracking, and integrated program planning across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- PMO & Operational Leadership: Lead, mentor, and coordinate the Program Advisor team to maintain consistent governance, reporting, and operational support across all program workstreams.
- Executive & Board Reporting: Prepare high-quality Program Board papers, executive briefings, status dashboards, and performance metrics for senior executive leadership.
- Planning & Schedule Integration: Maintain integrated program schedules, milestone trackers, governance calendars, and dependency maps across all sub-projects.
- Governance & RAID Management: Maintain consolidated risk, issue, assumption, and dependency (RAID) registers, action logs, and decision registers.
- Financial & Resource Coordination: Monitor program expenditure against approved budgets, manage financial forecasting, and support workforce/resource reporting.
- Continuous Improvement: Develop and maintain standardised program management templates, reporting frameworks, and operational processes.
Mandatory Selection Criteria
To be considered for this role, candidates must demonstrate:
1. Cyber Security & ICT Program Experience: Proven experience supporting PMO, governance, or coordination activities within Cyber Security, ICT, or major Digital Transformation programs.
2. Queensland Government Governance: Demonstrated experience working within Queensland Government (or equivalent highly regulated public sector environments), including navigating formal governance structures.
3. Executive Governance Forum Management: Direct experience coordinating and preparing papers for Program Boards, Project Reference Groups, or senior executive governance bodies.
4. Governance Framework & Template Design: Experience developing program governance templates, reporting frameworks, and operational processes.
5. Program Financial Management: Demonstrated experience supporting program financial management, budget tracking, and expenditure monitoring
6. Tooling & Platform Proficiency: Advanced hands-on skills with Microsoft Project, Project Online, Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
7. Qualifications & Certifications: Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Project Management, or Administration, paired with formal project/program management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, or PMO qualifications).
