We’re seeking a resilient Field Collections Agent to manage a portfolio of customer accounts through door-to-door visits, phone follow-ups and repayment negotiations.

Salary: $88,500 + commission

About the Role
As a Field Collections Agent, you’ll take ownership of an allocated portfolio of customer accounts.

You’ll plan and complete door-to-door visits, speak with customers face-to-face and follow up over the phone. Your focus will be understanding each customer’s circumstances, negotiating outstanding debt and establishing realistic repayment arrangements.

This role requires confidence approaching customers at their homes, resilience when managing difficult or sensitive conversations and the ability to work independently in the field.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage an allocated portfolio of outstanding customer accounts
- Plan and complete door-to-door field visits across designated areas
- Locate and engage customers at residential addresses
- Discuss outstanding debts and understand individual financial circumstances
- Negotiate realistic and sustainable repayment arrangements
- Follow up customers by phone and monitor active repayment plans
- Maintain accurate records of visits, conversations and agreed arrangements

About You




You’ll be a confident, resilient and adaptable communicator who can balance respectful customer engagement with a strong focus on achieving results.

You will ideally bring:

- Experience in sales, customer service or another field-based role
- Confidence conducting door-to-door visits and approaching customers at residential addresses
- Strong negotiation, rapport-building and problem-solving skills
- The ability to manage difficult, sensitive or confrontational conversations professionally
- A self-motivated and results-focused approach
- Confidence using email, mobile applications and customer-management systems
