About us:
GO.FARM is an Australian-owned, high-conviction agricultural investor, developer and manager with a clear purpose: to transform Australian agriculture.
We identify underutilised and undercapitalised agricultural assets and reimagine them through land use change, investment in people, and adoption of climate-smart technologies. Our investment decisions and operations are underpinned by our Responsible Agriculture Framework, which guides our stewardship of natural capital, people and communities.
About the role:
Join our growing maintenance team at Sandmount Farms as a Mechanical Technician, supporting the servicing, maintenance, repair and reliability of our machinery, vehicle and equipment fleet.

- Diagnose mechanical issues and support practical, timely repairs.
- Assist with preventative maintenance and pre-season servicing programs that improve reliability and reduce operational downtime.
- Monitor the condition and performance of tractors, horticultural equipment, tillage equipment, sprayers, planters, vehicles and other farm assets.
- Identify equipment issues early, communicate maintenance requirements clearly and help develop practical solutions.
- Maintain an organised, safe and efficient workshop that supports high standards of safety, productivity and workmanship.
- Work closely with the farm team to improve equipment reliability, longevity and operating efficiency.
- Assist with parts ordering, inventory management and accurate maintenance records.

- Contribute to a culture of safety, accountability, care for equipment and continuous improvement.
- Carry out other duties as required.
About you:
You’re mechanically minded, enjoy practical problem-solving and take pride in understanding how machinery and equipment work.
