About the role

Are you a high-energy leader who loves fast-paced environments, building strong teams, and delivering great food? We are looking for a passionate Assistant Restaurant Manager to step up, lead from the front, and drive operational success at our beautiful beachside location in Manly (NSW 2095). At GYG, we don't just make food—we grow leaders. You will support the Restaurant Manager in daily operations, manage inventory, lead bustling service rushes, and mentor a high-performing crew.

Key responsibilities

- Run high-volume shifts with energy, ensuring food quality, speed, and safety standards are perfect every day

- Supercharge team performance through active coaching, onboarding, and structured training

- Assist with inventory management, food costing, stock control, and labor optimization

- Lead by example to create a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere that makes every customer love us

About you

- Prior leadership experience in a busy, high-volume hospitality or QSR workplace





- Exceptional people skills with the natural ability to inspire and motivate a young team

- A "can-do" work ethic, high emotional intelligence, and a genuine passion for food

- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including mornings, nights, and weekends
