Sales Representative (Part-Time)

Tuesday – Thursday | Permanent Part-Time | Melbourne-Based

Irrewarra Bakery creates amazing high-quality food products that sell themselves! Leading the modern sourdough bread movement, before diversifying into a range of artisan grocery staples, granola, biscuits and festive, our brand is iconic in Victoria and nationally.

Our products are sought after by gourmet food stores, independents, supermarkets and major supermarket retailers (Coles & Woolworths) for their high quality, real ingredients and outstanding taste.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a reliable, motivated and enthusiastic Sales Representative to join our team.

This is a flexible field-based role, generally working Tuesday to Thursday, where your focus will be maintaining strong relationships with our existing customers and pursuing new business to grow sales across our full product range.

The role is intended to be part-time; however, full-time employment may be considered for the right applicant. Availability across the required days is essential.

Reporting to our Bread and Grocery Account Managers, you will become the face of the Irrewarra brand across Melbourne and surrounds.

Working across our full range (Bread, Granola, Biscuits & Festive), you will be responsible for:

- Visiting existing customers on a regular basis.

- Building strong relationships with store owners and managers.

- Ensuring customers receive outstanding service and support.

- Merchandising and maintaining attractive product displays.

- Monitoring stock levels and identifying opportunities to improve product ranging.

- Seeking out and developing new business opportunities.

- Promoting new and seasonal products.

- Providing feedback on customer requirements, competitor activity and market trends.





- Working closely with our Bread and Grocery Account Managers to implement sales strategies.

- Completing customer visit reports and following up actions.

This role involves regular travel throughout Melbourne and surrounds, with occasional travel to regional Victorian areas.

You'll be someone who:

- Is reliable, organised and self-motivated.

- Enjoys building strong customer relationships and providing excellent service.

- Has experience working with an established brand.

- Takes pride in representing the Irrewarra brand.

- Has an eye for merchandising and identifying sales opportunities.

- Is comfortable working independently and travelling between customer sites.

- Is physically capable of lifting and moving stock when required.

- Has experience in sales, merchandising, FMCG, retail or customer service (preferred but not essential).

- Holds a current Australian driver's licence, has access to a reliable vehicle, and has Australian work rights.

Full training will be provided for the right person. This opportunity may develop into full-time work.
