We are seeking an experienced Housekeeper / Family Assistant to support a busy, skilled family within a beautifully maintained private home. This is predominantly a housekeeping position, suited to someone who takes genuine pride in keeping the home clean, organised and beautifully presented.

The majority of the role will involve daily household resets, laundry, tidying and general housekeeping, along with identifying areas that require additional attention and overseeing deeper cleaning as needed. Approximately 20% of the position will involve household coordination and light administration, arranging and overseeing trades and service providers such as gardeners, window cleaners and car servicing.

The ideal candidate will be mature minded, practical and highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently and take initiative. Someone who naturally notices what needs attention and enjoys taking ownership of the presentation and upkeep of a home would suit this family extremely well.

Must be pet friendly, whilst there is no pet care required there is a gorgeous mini poodle at the property.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Daily household cleaning duties and general upkeep of the home
• Identifying areas of the property requiring additional cleaning, maintenance or attention
• Laundry management including washing, drying, folding, ironing and putting away clothing
• Changing bed linen and maintaining bedroom presentation
• Kitchen upkeep and regular fridge clean/check dates on food etc
• Ensure cupboards,



storage areas and household spaces remain organised
• Maintaining gym and outdoor areas
• Household inventory and maintaining household supplies
• Arranging and overseeing trades and service providers, including gardeners, window cleaners, Zip water, air-conditioning servicing and general repairs
• Coordinating services such as car detailing and servicing as required
• Running general errands and assisting with ad hoc household tasks
• Light household administration and coordination as required

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar housekeeping / Family Assistant role
• Previous experience working within a private household
• Strong hands-on housekeeping experience and high standards of presentation
• Mature minded, professional and highly organised with a strong work ethic
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative
• Confident liaising with trades and household service providers
• Pet friendly
• Valid Police Check and Working with Children Check
• Excellent contactable references
• Full working rights in Australia (not suitable for temporary visa holders unless holding an appropriate permanent visa)
• Driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
