We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Team Leader to join our team. This role does not become available often and is ideal for someone looking to step into a stable, well-supported leadership position within the disability sector.
As Team Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing service delivery across Supported Independent Living (SIL), Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) and Community Access Support (CAS) settings. You will play a key role in supporting staff, maintaining compliance, and ensuring high quality outcomes for participants.
About the Role
Reporting to senior leadership, you will manage a combination of planning, administrative, and supervisory responsibilities to ensure services are delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with NDIS requirements and organisational standards.
This role is Full Time - Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm based in our Ashmore Office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing, implementing, monitoring, and reviewing participant care and support plans
- Ensuring supports are delivered in line with service agreements, funding, and company policies
- Collaborating with families, stakeholders, and external providers
- Supporting and guiding support staff to maintain high standards of care
- Contributing to continuous improvement and best practice service delivery
About You
You are a proactive, professional,
and solutions focused leader with a genuine passion for improving the lives of people with disability. You bring strong organisational skills, confidence in decision making, and the ability to build positive relationships with both staff and stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 12 months’ experience in the disability sector, including experience as a Support Worker
- Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated industry experience
- Robust understanding of SIL, SDA, and NDIS service delivery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage competing demands
- Strong problem solving, conflict resolution, and decision making skills
- A current Driver’s License
- Ability to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
Previous leadership, coordination, or supervisory experience will be highly regarded.
