SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Directly support the office of the CEO to meet their key business objectives by sensitively and professionally fielding their emails and phone calls; strategically managing their calendars; providing clerical support.
- Develop and maintain effective and trusting relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and liaise with these on behalf of the office of the CEO and the Central Office.
- Analyse and assess requests to prioritise matters and initiate action to ensure the optimal use of the office of the CEO’s time.
- Research, collate and provide background information to the office of the CEO to assist them to make informed decision or actions.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets and presentations to support the work of the office of the CEO.
- Oversee the coordination, meeting cadence and preparation of all meeting documentation for meetings of the Office of the CEO including but not limited to Cross Divisional Leadership Team (CDLT), Operational Division Meetings, Combined Operations and Commercial Meetings.
- Prepare the annual school calendar and set the meeting schedule for the year in partnership with the EA to the CFO and Executive Services Manager.
- Support the CEO in meeting their obligations to the Board of Directors and Committees including, meeting cadence, reporting, supporting governance process and compliance and coordinating timely communication and follow-up with the Board.
- Support the LEAD Committee in the running of the various LEAD programs across the organisation managing all aspects of meetings, events and functions associated with this program.
- Oversee the Overseas Travel process on behalf of the CEO’s office delegation and work with the Global Partnerships Specialist to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations.
- Support the organisation’s international recruitment process as an approved Standard Business Sponsor (SBS).
- Coordinate all travel, accommodation and itineraries for the CEO and other Executives as required.
- Any other reasonable direction that is within the limits of your skills, competence, training and/or experience as given by your supervisor.
ESSENTIAL QUALITIES AND SKILLS
- Committed Christian who is actively involved in their local evangelical Christian church.
- Tertiary qualifications in business administration and/ or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years demonstrated Executive Assistant experience.
- Demonstrated high-level administration and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrated advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- A proactive, collaborative mindset and demonstrated capacity to work independently and within a team environment.
- High emotional intelligence, discretion and integrity
- Current Working with Children Check
The following will add great value to your qualifications for this position:
- Experience within c/suite assistant roles.
- Experience within the education sector.
- First aid certification
