About the role

Kev's Cranes is a small, family-run business specialising in inspections, rebuilds, repairs, and truck-mounted cranes. We're looking for a Fitter Welder to join our crew. A big part of the job will be building subframes and trays for truck-mounted cranes, along with general fabrication and fitting. If you've got hydraulics experience, that's a bonus – but it's not essential.

Key responsibilities

- Fabricating and welding subframes and trays for crane trucks
- General fitting and fabrication work
- Getting hands-on with steel and machinery
- Occasionally dealing with hydraulics (if you know your way around them)
- Working alongside a small, fun, and supportive team

About you

- Welding and fabrication skills (essential)
- Experience with subframes and trays (or willingness to learn)
- Mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving
- A robust work ethic
- Hydraulics knowledge = big bonus
