The Position:

We are seeking a qualified, engaging and enthusiastic Secondary Science Teacher to join our thriving Science Department.

The King’s College Science Department offers a dynamic curriculum across Years 7 to 12, including Years 7 to 10 Science and a range of senior secondary Science subjects. Current offerings include General Psychology, ATAR Psychology, ATAR Physics, ATAR Chemistry and ATAR Human Biology.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging and purposeful Science learning experiences for Secondary students.

- Demonstrate solid subject knowledge and a passion for helping students understand and enjoy Science.

- Plan and implement differentiated teaching and learning programs that support a range of student needs.

- Create a classroom environment where students feel safe, known,



valued and challenged.

- Work collaboratively with colleagues, the Heads of Learning Areas, Deans, pastoral staff and College leaders.

- Communicate professionally and respectfully with students, families and staff.

- Support student wellbeing, behaviour, engagement and academic growth.

- Contribute positively to the Christian culture, community life and reputation of the College.

- Uphold the College’s values, policies, professional expectations and child safe practices.

About You

- Committed Christian who has demonstrated personal faith.

- Hold a recognised teaching qualification and current TRBWA registration.

- Hold, or be willing to obtain, a current Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance.

- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Show a commitment to high-quality teaching, student wellbeing and professional growth.

- Be able to work collaboratively as part of a team while also taking initiative within the scope of the role.
