Civilcast is an Australian-owned, fast growing precast concrete manufacturer and our mould fleet is the engine room of everything we build. We're after a Mechanical Engineer who wants real ownership: new mould builds end-to-end, fleet maintenance, and a workshop team you'll lead and grow.

The Role

The role owns new build mould management, delivering new moulds in line with the mould production schedule and covers the full new build process end to end including: procurement of moulds from external suppliers and raw materials, quality assurance of the finished mould, and delivery to site ready for production.

You'll work closely with Production, Engineering and Quality to keep moulds available, protected and dimensionally spot-on — because mould downtime is the one thing that slows us down and is critical to Civilcast's Fast Lead Times and Large Stocks uniques!

Location

This role could be based at Erskine Park (moving to Penrith later this year), Goulburn or Cowra and will require travel depending on the primary location.

What You'll Own

- End-to-end new mould builds — supplier procurement through to QA sign-off and delivery to the line;





- Preventative maintenance, repair and lifecycle management of the entire steel mould fleet;

- A fitting/fabrication team you'll lead, develop and hold to a high standard.

What You'll Bring

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (essential);

- Hands-on experience with steel moulds, formwork or fixtures — precast, foundry or heavy fabrication background ideal;

- CAD proficiency (SolidWorks, Inventor or AutoCAD) and confidence leading a trade team;

- Strong stakeholder management and leadership across a dispersed team;

- A "say it straight" communicator who reports up early and doesn't sit on problems.
