We design, engineer, manufacture, and assemble a diverse range of underground coal diesel equipment, including Personnel Transporters, Graders, Underground Dozers, and Longwall Chock Carriers.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Trade Assistant to join our Team, supporting workshop activities across new build and refurbishment projects for underground mining equipment. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with experienced tradespeople and supervisors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career in a mining or heavy industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist tradespeople with fitting, assembly, and repair tasks




- Prepare tools, parts, and equipment for scheduled work
- Perform general labouring duties including grinding, cleaning and painting
- Support manual handling and movement of components
- Participate in safety processes, including hazard reporting and risk assessments
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment

What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience in a workshop or trade environment
- Robust commitment to WHS
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Drivers license
- Current HR License - Fork Truck
- Experience working around heavy industrial or mining equipment

- Overhead Crane Competency RIIHAN305D
