Development of automation ( e.g. palletising and cobots + robots, assembly machines, conveyor networks + more) projects of varying sizes and associated switchboard wiring has resulted in significant growth in all areas of the business. This now opens up an exciting position for a hands-on qualified Electrical Fitter wishing to join our dedicated team in progressing with the Company through exciting times.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Assembly and installation of leak tester control boards
- Setting out wiring from sensors and devices
- Control pneumatic tubing and testing of all machines; the higher the pneumatic understanding, the better.
- Assist with packaging machines at times.
- Switchboard building and reading of schematic drawings
- Assist with development and design, and oversee appropriate documentation
- Supervision of electrical safety and adherence to OH&S; standards
- Offsite work dealing with customer service requirements, installation and breakdowns

Your Attributes

- Fully qualified,



licensed and experienced electrician with excellent communication ability, dual trade or equivalent is even better
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a qualified electrician is required
- Very Computer literate, i.e. Excel, Word and the capacity to make electrical drawings would be advantageous
- PLC programming skills, very highly regarded
- Basic understanding of PLC programming is required to support our automation systems
- Attention to detail
- Sound knowledge of switchboard wiring rules and regulations
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical drawings
- Solid prioritisation, organisational and time management skills, Ability to work unsupervised.
- High-quality troubleshooting ability.
- High mechanical aptitude required; must be comfortable in all areas of the workshop. Our machines are MECHATRONIC in nature, and mechanical ability is definitely required.
- Previous machine-building experience preferred, but not essential for the right candidate.
- Own car and driver's license required
- Australian citizenship is required for this position
