TAS TEACHER
St Vincent's College is seeking to appoint a full-time professional and enthusiastic teacher qualified to teach TAS subjects acrossYears 7 to 12. The successful candidate would be able to teach Stage 5 Food Technology and at least one Stage 6 course (Design and Technology or Textiles Technology).
The Role
The successful applicant will have a commitment to education and to the discipline of Technology. They will demonstrate pleasure in classroom teaching of students across a range of ability levels and the ability to work co-operatively with a committed and enthusiastic department. We are seeking a teacher willing to learn and grow alongside their students and colleagues.

Key position criteria
- Qualifications for and/or experience as a classroom teacher TAS teacher.
- The ability to teach Stage 5 Food Technology and at least one Stage 6 course in Design and Technology or Textiles Technology.
- Experience and or willingness to guide students towards personal, social and technological competence in using Digital Technologies.
- Promote a culture of growth and achievement in the classroom by modelling a genuine passion for learning.
- Intelligent understanding of the connection between emotional and educational growth and willingness to support shared principles and practices in maintaining safe,
inclusive and productive learning environments.
- Be committed to continuous improvement and professional learning.
- Have a commitment to Catholic education, displaying a clear understanding of the ethos of Catholic schools and the particular Mission and Vision of the College
- Hold a current Working with Children Check, be committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare and well-being of young people.
- Collaborative teaching and work practices. Solid communication skills, effective record keeping and ability to manage workflow and demands.
