The Prospect

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the financial performance of the business, with a strong focus on management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis.

You’ll work closely with both finance and non-finance stakeholders, providing insight into business performance and helping identify opportunities to improve financial and operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management reports, including analysis and commentary
- Support the month-end close process, management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
- Partner with key stakeholders to understand and analyse financial and operational performance
- Assist with monthly forecasting and annual budgeting across P&L;, balance sheet and capital expenditure




- Provide meaningful financial analysis and commentary to support decision-making
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline finance processes
- Support effective purchase order and cost management across the business
- Maintain strong internal controls and financial processes
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and non-finance teams
- Contribute to broader finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

- CA/CPA qualification, or be working towards this
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar commercial accounting role
- Strong management reporting, budgeting and forecasting experience
- Excellent Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A proactive approach to process improvement
- The ability to work autonomously while also being a collaborative team player
- A genuine interest in understanding the commercial and operational side of a business
