We are seekingexperienced Mental Health Support Workers to join our team and provide exceptional care within a Supported Independent Living (SIL) environment.
Mental Health Support Workers – Newcastle & Hunter Region
Requirements:
- Experience in mental health and trauma-informed support
- Preferable experience in nursing or supporting complex health needs
- Skills with complex medical presentations
- Experience supporting participants with complex mental health needs
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team delivering therapeutic supports
- Experience implementing allied health plans, including mealtime management plans
- Solid understanding of restrictive practices and behaviour support plans
- Experience delivering goal-focused supports with a strong capacity-building approach
