Reporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of monthly financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes with variance analysis
- Preparing monthly management reports and financial analysis
- Partnering with operational teams on revenue and cost performance
- Managing month-end processes including journals and GL reconciliations
- Supporting audit requirements and ensuring compliance with financial policies
- Analysing financial results and identifying key performance trends
- Assisting with improvements to reporting processes and financial controls
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will be CA/CPA qualified with 3+ years of accounting experience, either as a Management or Financial Accountant within a commercial business or from a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm looking to move into industry. You will have experience with cloud-based software, advanced Excel skills, strong problem-solving abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and great attention to detail.
