Metal Roofing & Building Supplies – Smeaton Grange NSW

This is a Evening SHIFT position, standard hours will be from 9pm to 5.30am Sunday to Thursday. Overtime will be available outside of these hours.

We are currently looking for a candidate to work on a evening shift to pack and load trucks so that they are ready to leave on time the next morning. The position requires someone with good confidence on a forklift that is able to be detail orientated and load trucks in a secure manor.

Position Responsibilities

- Must be able to work independently and follow instructions as well as be held accountable.
- Over time is a part of this position and all overtime is paid at applicable rates
- Ensure sufficient packing materials are used where required.
- Pack product into correct packaging and ensure it’s safe for transport.
- Apply correct labels to product as required.
- Monitor product quality and alert Transport Manager if any problems occur.




- Carry out any other duties as instructed by the Transport Managerrelated to this position
- Keep work areas clear of any rubbish.
- Ensure all Company OH&S; and Human Resources Policies and Procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Wear the correct and appropriate safety equipment whilst carrying out duties at all times in the boundaries as stipulated by boundary signs through the factory.

Position Requirements

- Must have a current forklift License with experience in safely loading and restraining trucks
- Looking for someone who wants a long term position not a stepping stone
- Must have a working mode of transport to get to work on time daily.
- Must have a good attitude towards work and be available to work a reasonable amount of Overtime including Saturdays when required.
- Truck Licence or experience would be a great bonus as you will need to move trucks around the Yard.
