About the role:

At Carinity Education –Shalom Townsville, we’re committed to providing a supportive andinclusive learning environment where every student can thrive. Thesenior Office Coordinator oversees the two Primary and Secondaryadministration offices.

In this position, you will ensure consistency of communicationand practice from and between administration offices. You will alsoperform school administrative functions, responding to needs andrequests from staff, leaders, students, parents and the communityin support of the provision of a quality and rich Christianeducation experience for marginalised young people. This roleliaises with business administration personnel at Carinity HeadOffice in Brisbane.

This position reports to the Director of School Campus andcoordinates enrolments across the primary and secondary school,maintains student records and data integrity, ensures compliancewith government reporting requirements, manages interschooltransfer documentation, and maintains up to date administrativeprocedures and handbooks. You will also oversee school calendars,ensure accurate recording of student and staff data in relevantsystems, and support effective financial administrative andmanagement practices.

Availability is required Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and4:00 PM.

What do you need for the role?





- Diploma level qualification or higher in a relevant field(Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or otherrelevant field)
- Demonstrated experience in leading a small team is highlydesirable
- Demonstrated experience in administrative officeprocedures, preferably within a secondary schoolenvironment
- Demonstrated experience working with a wide range ofinformation systems, including financial systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills and highly developed verbaland written communication skills
- Knowledge and skills in the use of the Microsoft Officesuite
- Experience with TASS management software isadvantageous
- Current Working with Children check (Blue Card)
