Secom Australia is currently seeking a motivated and qualified individual to join our team as a permanent full time Level 3 Security Officer (plus applicable penalties) for a gatehouse security role in Eagle Farm, Brisbane(QLD). This position has a set roster of 12-hour shifts on a four on four off, day and night rotation.

Key Responsibilities

- Controlling site access and preventing unauthorised entry.
- Conducting vehicle and bag inspections.
- Completing accurate, real-time data entry into live national Excel spreadsheets (driver and vehicle information).




- Communicating frequently with client operations via two-way radio and phone systems.
- Conducting site inductions for drivers and visitors as required.
- Monitoring CCTV, access control, and electronic surveillance systems.
- Operating access control systems (issuing cards, locking/unlocking doors, auditing access).
- Recording incidents, breaches, and safety concerns.

- Performance – Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, effectively identify and respond to security incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service at all times.

Eligibility, Qualifications, Licences & Certifications

- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with unrestricted Rights to Work in Australia (Essential).
- Current QLD Security Licence with a Class 1A as a minimum (Essential).
- Full Drivers Licence (Essential).
- Elevated customer service skills.
- Previous security experience in gatehouses or warehousing / logistics operations.
- Two references required.
