Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and reliable Cook to join our kitchen team at Terrace on the Domain.

n

Working within a busy restaurant and events setting, you will assist with food preparation and service while maintaining consistently high standards of quality, presentation, food safety and kitchen organisation.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
n
- Complete daily mise en place and preparation requirements
n
- Assist with restaurant, café and function food production
n
- Maintain consistent portioning, quality and presentation
n
- Set up and maintain an organised workstation for service
n
- Follow food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures
n
- Correctly label, date, rotate and store food products
n
- Minimise food waste and assist with stock control
n
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen and equipment
n
- Communicate effectively with chefs and other team members
n




- Assist other sections during busy service periods
n

- Has previous experience working in a commercial kitchen
n
- Is passionate about food and maintaining high standards
n
- Can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
n
- Is reliable, punctual and organised
n
- Works well within a team
n
- Understands food safety and kitchen hygiene requirements
n
- Is available across a flexible roster, including weekends and public holidays where required
n
