Job Description
We're recruiting for an Indigenous Project Officer to join our client, a respected organisation that supports councils all across NSW. Based in Sydney CBD, this role offers the flexibility to work part-time (4 days/week) or full-time (5 days/week), depending on your preference. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with administration, project support or similar experience to take ownership of a program of works that will support the engagement of First Nations businesses by various government organisations.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Administer and promote First Nations procurement program across NSW
n
- Support expressions of interest and onboarding of suppliers into the program
n
- Track outcomes and prepare reports on program performance and impact
n
- Help monitor delivery of actions within a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)
n
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure commitments and deadlines are met
n
n
Skills and Requirements
n
n
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage (this is an Identified Role)
n
- Previous experience in administration, project support, or an office environment
n
- Good written and verbal communication skills with confidence engaging stakeholders
n
