A growing development advisory business is looking to appoint a Client-Side Project Manager to its Brisbane team.

n

This opportunity is specifically suited to an experienced Contract Administrator working for a principal contractor who enjoys construction and wants to stay close to project delivery, but has realised that working builder-side may not be where their long-term career lies.

n

Rather than requiring previous client-side experience, we're looking for someone with a strong commercial foundation who can bring their understanding of contracts, construction and project delivery into a broader client-side Project Management role.

The Opportunity

n

You'll work alongside experienced development and project professionals, representing clients across the planning, procurement and delivery of medium-high rise residential developments.

n

The role will provide exposure across the full project lifecycle and allow you to develop beyond traditional Contract Administration into broader project, consultant and stakeholder management.

n

Responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Supporting projects from early planning through construction and handover
n
- Managing and coordinating consultants and key project stakeholders
n
- Representing the client throughout project delivery
n
- Managing project programmes, budgets, risk and reporting
n
- Reviewing contracts, variations, claims and commercial matters
n
- Working closely with principal contractors throughout construction
n
- Coordinating design, procurement and delivery requirements
n
- Providing clear reporting and advice to clients
n
- Maintaining strong relationships with developers, consultants and contractors
n

Who We're Looking For

n

We're specifically interested in candidates who have developed their career builder-side and now want to use that experience to transition into client-side Project Management.





n

Ideally, you will have:

n

n
- Bachelor of Construction Management or similar
n
- Approximately 5 years' experience progressing through Cadet and Contract Administrator positions
n
- Experience with a reputable Tier 2 Australian principal contractor
n
- Brisbane/SEQ construction experience highly regarded
n
- Exposure to medium-rise residential projects
n
- Strong understanding of both upstream and downstream contracts
n
- Positive commercial and cost management capability
n
- Confidence dealing directly with clients, consultants and contractors
n
- Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
n
- A proactive approach and genuine ambition to develop your career
n
