Ausdirect Hire is a Brisbane equipment hire business, based in Hemmant, and we're growing. We run a fleet of two trucks and we're adding to it. We're looking for an experienced tilt tray driver to come with us as that happens.

The pay
n
$36 to $40 per hour, plus super. Where you land depends on your license and what you bring.
n
Paid fortnightly. Plenty of hours available for the right person.

The role
n
Reporting to our Transport Manager, you'll deliver and collect hire equipment across Brisbane and South East Queensland — construction sites, industrial and commercial premises, and customer yards.

- Safely load, restrain, transport and unload hire equipment
n
- Deliver and collect across Brisbane and SEQ from our Hemmant depot
n
- Daily pre-starts and keeping your truck presentable
n
- Accurate electronic paperwork and transport documentation
n
- Professional customer service on every site you set foot on
n
n
What you need
n
n
- MR license minimum, HR strongly preferred — we run more than one truck and value drivers who can cover across the fleet
n
- Experience with access and material handling machinery preferred
n
- Real tilt tray experience — you can load an awkward machine without someone talking you through it
n
- Load restraint knowledge you can back up, not just recite
n
- Good judgement on site
n
- Reliability. Turning up on time, every day, is most of this job.
