Sushi on Fire Narellan is a busy, high-quality sushi restaurant dedicated to serving fresh, delicious food. We are looking for a skilled and passionate Sushi Maker to join our team and help us deliver exceptional, beautifully prepared dishes to our customers.

Key responsibilities

n

Prepare and roll a variety of high-quality sushi, including maki and nigiri

n

Cook and season sushi rice to the correct consistency and flavor

n

Maintain a spotless, organized, and sanitary workstation in compliance with food safety and health regulations

n

Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to ensure fresh ingredients are always available

n

Work efficiently during peak service hours to ensure orders are fulfilled quickly and accurately

n

About you

n





Previous experience working as a Sushi Maker or in a similar kitchen role is highly preferred

n

Solid knife skills and an eye for presentation and detail

n

The ability to work fast while maintaining high standards of quality in a busy environment

n

Positive attitude, communicate well with the front and back-of-house teams, and ready to pitch in where needed

n

Adaptable schedule, including the ability to work weekends and busy evening shifts

n

A friendly, fast-paced, and supportive team environment
