Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5 years in a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
n




- Assist in implementing fun, play-based educational programs in line with the EYLF.
n
- Support permanent centre staff by seamlessly stepping in during busy periods, staff absences, or scheduled leave.
n
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
n
- Maintain excellent supervision and adhere to National Quality Standards (NQS) and health and safety regulations.
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Qualifications:Hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or be actively studying an ACECQA-approved qualification)
n
- Compliance:A valid Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card) for paid employment.
n
- Certifications:Current food handling certificate and GECCKO National Child Safety Certificate (or a willingness to obtain them quickly).
n
- Availability:Available at least 2 days per week, with flexibility for occasional short-notice shifts.
n
- Work Rights:Valid, unrestricted working rights within Australia.
n
- Skills:Excellent communication, a proactive work ethic, and a genuine love for working with children.
