2 Delivery Driver Positions with forklift ticket - MR & HR/HC

JC Karriers is seeking two experienced Delivery Drivers to join our growing transport and logistics team based in Woombye, QLD. These are full-time and causal positions offering an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable company in the road transport industry. You will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently to our customers across the region, operating both MR and HR/HC class vehicles. These roles are essential to our operations, ensuring timely and professional service delivery to our valued clients.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Operate MR and HR/HC class vehicles to transport and deliver goods to designated locations in a protected and timely manner
n
- MR Causal Position is predominantly plasterboard hand unloading.
n
- HR/HC Fulltime Position is predominantly forklift unloading Hebel and after building products.
n
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any mechanical issues
n
- Use forklift equipment to load and unload freight at distribution points and customer locations
n
- Maintain accurate delivery records, documentation and GPS tracking systems
n
- Communicate professionally with customers and ensure goods are delivered in good condition
n
- Comply with all relevant road transport regulations, safety standards and company policies
n
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to minimise fuel consumption and meet delivery schedules
n
- Conduct vehicle safety checks and maintain logbooks in accordance with transport legislation
n

What we are looking for

n

n
- Current, valid MR and HR/HC driving licence
n




- Current forklift ticket/certification - not essential for MR position
n
- Proven experience as a delivery driver in the road transport sector
n
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and transport compliance requirements
n
- Excellent driving record with no serious driving violations
n
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks regularly
n
- Professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach
n
- Reliability, punctuality and a strong commitment to safety
n
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and delivery management software is advantageous
n
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain it would be highly valued
n
