About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team and support our daily financial and administrative operations.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure all financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable,
accounts receivable and payroll using Xero.
- Verify, code and process supplier invoices.
- Coordinate, approve and manage invoicing.
- Schedule supplier payments accurately and on time.
- Process payroll and maintain employee payroll records.
- Manage superannuation reporting and payments.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Provide general administrative support across the business.
- Prepare correspondence, reports and other business documents.
- Manage reception duties, incoming emails and accounts-related phone calls.
- Maintain and update company databases.
- Help maintain a professional, organised office workplace.
This is a full-time position, working:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
About You
You will ideally have:
- At least 1 year of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Strong experience using Xero.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
